Can you recommend another checklist or questionnaire that picks up on attachment issues and would facilitate a conversation with parents about attachment issues?

The ASQ developers recommend using the Social-Emotional Assessment Measure (SEAM). The SEAM Family Profile solicits information related to attachment issues. The tool gets to the heart of whether or not the parent is able to be a "safe haven/secure base" for the child and would definitely facilitate attachment-related conversations. Developed by the same developers as ASQ, SEAM can be used as a next step after ASQ:SE-2. View a sample SEAM Family Profile form.
