Using ASQ-3 & ASQ:SE-2 Together

We give parents both ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 at the same time. Which ASQ:SE-2 questionnaire should be used if there isn't a questionnaire that corresponds directly to child's age assessed with ASQ-3 (for example, 8 months)?
We use the ASQ-3 as part of our developmental screening program and are piloting a Project LAUNCH initiative with the ASQ:SE-2 to improve our focus on social-emotional needs of infants and toddlers. Have you conducted research on or do you recommended a 2-step process where only children with a delay in the Personal-Social area of the ASQ-3 receive an ASQ:SE-2 rather than screening with both questionnaires for every child?

Do you have any recommendations on how to do the tools in a modified version so that we can complete in our short time frame and do not have to print off so many pages? Which questions are critical?
