ASQ-3 questionnaires are used to screen young children in the first 5½ years of life (1–66 months). It is not recommended to use the 60 month ASQ-3 questionnaire on an older child, as they are above the age range of the research sample used to determine the cutoff scores. However, if you don't have any other tools to use, you could use the 60 month questionnaire keeping in mind that some children with delays may not be identified. A 72 month interval is being developed for the fourth edition of ASQ.
