If a child scores below the cutoff on ASQ-3 and their parents refuse a referral to early intervention, is there a guideline for when to resume screening? Should we screen again in 2 months or resume the standard screening schedule?

If the parents are agreeable, the ASQ developers recommend rescreening the child in 2-4 months. If they don’t want more frequent screening, then we recommend returning to the standard screening schedule.
